1: COME, sinners, to the gospel feast,

Let every soul be Jesus’ guest;

Ye need not one be left behind,

For God hath bid all humankind.

2: Sent by my Lord, on you I call;

The invitation is to all;

Come, all the world! Come, sinner, thou!

All things in Christ are ready now.

3: Come, all ye souls by sin oppressed,

Ye restless wanderers after rest;

Ye poor, and maimed, and halt, and blind,

In Christ a hearty welcome find.

4: My message as from God receive;

Ye all may come to Christ and live:

O let His love your hearts constrain,

Nor suffer Him to die in vain.

*_(Charles Wesley, 1747 — Written as a direct evangelical invitation to every soul, this hymn is the musical twin of the parable of the wedding feast, calling every condition of humanity — regardless of brokenness or distance — to accept the King’s standing invitation to the gospel banquet.)_*

🙏✝️❤️‍🔥 *SEVEN PROPHETIC PRAYERS*

*_Preparatory — Before the Exhortation_*

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 1 — _The Invitation Received._*

Title: Every Ear Open to Heaven’s Call.

_“The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage feast for his son.”_ — Matthew 22:2 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_Father, King of the eternal feast, let every soul in this congregation receive Your invitation afresh today with the urgency it deserves! Let no ear in this place be closed to the Spirit’s voice calling us to the table, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 2 — _Against Excuses and Neglect._*

Title: Every Distraction That Competes With the Feast, Removed.

_“But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.”_ — Matthew 22:5 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_God of urgency, expose and remove every spirit of spiritual neglect and casual indifference in this congregation! Let no soul here treat the King’s invitation as secondary, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 3 — _The Streets Swept for Unlikely Guests._*

Title: Grace Extended to the Overlooked and Forgotten.

❤️‍🔥 *_God of the highways and byways, let this congregation sweep the streets of this city with the invitation of Your grace! Let no soul consider themselves too broken, too unlikely, or too far gone to be welcomed at Your table, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 4 — _The Wedding Garment Received._*

In November 1825, a young German student named George Müller — then better known for card-sharping and deception than for any virtue — slipped into a small prayer meeting in a private house in Halle at the casual invitation of a friend. He had no spiritual expectations. He had received the gospel invitation before — through a devout mother’s prayers before her early death, through years of theological study that left his heart entirely unchanged, through the faithful witness of believing friends whose lives he had largely dismissed. Each time the invitation had come, he had found a reason to decline: too soon, too distracted, too far gone. But that evening, a simple believer knelt to pray with an ordinariness that undid him completely. Müller came to the feast that night — not into the hall of the magnificent, but to the table of the humble — and was never the same again. The Bristol orphanages that would feed and clothe tens of thousands of children on nothing but prayer, the life that became one of the most astonishing testimonies to a prayer-answering God in all of Christian history — none of it came from a man who deserved the invitation. It came from a man who finally stopped making excuses and simply came.

*The Feast Prepared, the Invitations Declined.*

The parable opens with a king who has spared nothing for his son’s wedding. He sends servants to call those originally invited — but they refuse (v.3). A second invitation is dispatched with the most persuasive news possible: *_“all things are ready, come to the wedding”_* (v.4). Still they refuse — one to his farm, another to his business (v.5). Beloved, the feast was never the problem. It was not unprepared, nor was it unappealing. The problem was that those invited to a set table decided something else mattered more. Nothing has changed in two thousand years.

*The Streets Swept for the Unlikely Guest.*

The king, undeterred, sends his servants into the highways: *_“as many as you find, invite to the wedding”_* (v.9). They gathered all — *_“both bad and good”_* (v.10). Grace is not selective in its invitation. The feast does not wait for the worthy; it reaches into the highways and byways to gather the broken, the forgotten, the last to be considered. If you are in this sanctuary today wondering whether the invitation truly extends to someone like you — it does. The King’s table has room precisely because those originally expected chose to stay away.

🎊👑❤️‍🔥

*The Garment That Cannot Be Borrowed or Bypassed.*

Yet acceptance of the invitation is not the final word. The king enters to inspect the guests and finds one man without a wedding garment (v.11). In the custom of the day, the host would provide wedding garments at the door — their absence represents a deliberate refusal of what was freely offered, a choice to come entirely on one’s own terms. The man is speechless (v.12). He has no defence. Paul confirms in Ephesians 5 what the garment represents: not merely attendance at the feast, but being *_“filled with the Spirit”_* (v.18), walking *_“circumspectly, not as fools but as wise”_* (v.15) — clothed in the righteousness the Host Himself provides, not our own. Coming to the feast on one’s own terms still means arriving improperly dressed.

Beloved, the King has set the table. The invitation is still open — but it will not remain open indefinitely. Come. And come clothed in what He has already provided.

🙏✝️❤️‍🔥 *SEVEN INTERCESSORY PRAYERS*

*_Post-Exhortation — Prophetic Charismatic Warfare._*

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 8 — *_Against the Spirit of Casual Indifference._*

Title: Every Excuse Cancelled, Every Distraction Broken.

_“But they made light of it and went their ways.”_ — Matthew 22:5 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_My Father, My God — we break every spirit of casualness and indifference toward the things of God in this congregation! We rebuke every distraction — business, pleasure, and personal preoccupation — that competes with responding to the King’s invitation, consumed by Holy Ghost fire, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 9 — *_Against the Spirit of Delay._*

Title: “All Things Are Ready Now” — Accepted in This Moment.

_“All things are ready, come to the wedding.”_ — Matthew 22:4 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_God of the now, we break every spirit of spiritual procrastination keeping souls in this congregation from responding fully to Your invitation! We decree: the feast is ready — the response is NOW, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 10 — _For the City Streets to Be Swept._*

Title: This Congregation Released as Agents of the King’s Invitation.

_“Go therefore into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.”_ — Matthew 22:9 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_King of all, release this congregation into the streets and highways of this city as urgent bearers of Your invitation! Let no soul within our reach be overlooked, bypassed, or left uninvited, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 11 — _For the Wedding Garment Properly Worn._*

Title: Every Soul Clothed in Christ’s Righteousness, Not Their Own.

_“He saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.”_ — Matthew 22:11 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_God of righteousness, let every soul in this congregation be found wearing Christ’s righteousness alone — never the filthy rags of personal merit or religious performance! Let none be speechless before the King on that day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 12 — _For Spirit-Filled Living._*

Title: Every Vessel Filled, Not Merely Present.

_“Be filled with the Spirit.”_ — Ephesians 5:18 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_Holy Spirit, pour Yourself afresh into every believer in this congregation! Let none be content with a formal presence at the feast while remaining inwardly empty — fill every vessel to overflowing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 13 — _For Christ’s Good News Mission: A Feast-Bearing Ministry._*

Title: This Ministry Sweeping the City’s Highways With Heaven’s Invitation.

_“Go therefore into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.”_ — Matthew 22:9 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_Lord Jesus, we decree that Christ’s Good News Mission is a highway ministry — reaching the overlooked, the bypassed, and the unexpected guests of Your kingdom! Let this mission never grow so comfortable inside the hall that it forgets those still in the streets, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 14 — _The Warfare Benediction._*

Title: Sent Out Clothed, Filled, and Carrying the Invitation.

_“For many are called, but few are chosen.”_ — Matthew 22:14 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *_My Father, My God — seal every soul departing this sanctuary today as a chosen, garment-wearing, Spirit-filled guest of the King! Let them carry His invitation into every home and street this week with the urgency of those who know how precious and finite the open door truly is, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_* ❤️‍🔥

1

Sinners, Jesus will receive;
Sound this word of grace to all
Who the heavenly pathway leave,
All who linger, all who fall.

*_CHORUS:_*

Sing it o’er and o’er again;
Christ receiveth sinful men;
Make the message clear and plain:
Christ receiveth sinful men.

2

Come, and He will give you rest;
Trust Him for His word is plain;
He will take the sinfulest;
Christ receiveth sinful men.

*_CHORUS:_*

3

Now my heart condemns me not,
Pure before the law I stand;
He who cleansed me from all spot,
Satisfied its last demand.

*_CHORUS:_*

4

Christ receiveth sinful men,
Even me with all my sin;
Purged from every spot and stain,
Glory I shall enter in.

*_CHORUS:_*
