🎵 *OPENING HYMN MHB. 36 — _Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty”_*

1: HOLY, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

Early in the morning, our song shall rise to Thee;

Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty!

God in Three Persons, blesséd Trinity!

2: Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore Thee,

Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;

Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,

Which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

3: Holy, Holy, Holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,

Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see,

Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee

Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

4: Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea;

Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and Mighty!

God in Three Persons, blesséd Trinity!

(Reginald Heber, 1826 — The supreme Trinitarian hymn of the universal Church, composed expressly for Trinity Sunday and beloved across all traditions.)

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 2 — _The Son Who Reveals the Father_*

In the year 1888, the great Irish mathematician and physicist George FitzGerald proposed a concept that the scientific community initially found incomprehensible — that space, time, and matter were not isolated, independent realities but were profoundly, inseparably interconnected. Decades later, Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity confirmed and expanded that very insight. What had appeared to the ordinary mind as three separate dimensions — length, breadth, and height — were in truth one unified, interdependent fabric of reality. Remove one dimension and the entire structure collapses. The three are distinct; the three are inseparable; the three together constitute the whole.

Beloved, while no human analogy can fully capture the infinite mystery of the Blessed Trinity, that scientific truth offers us a humble foothold: what appears to be an indivisible, glorious whole. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not three Gods. They are one God — distinct in Person, unified in essence, co-equal in glory, and ceaselessly active in the salvation, sanctification, and sustenance of every soul who calls upon Their Name. This is the main thrust of genuine Christianity, a point of departure with mere dogmatic religiosity.

*The Father: The Source From Whom All Blessing Flows.*

Jesus declared to Nicodemus the most breathtaking sentence in all of human history: *_“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son”_* (John 3:16, NKJV). The Trinity story begins not with law, not with demand, not with condemnation — it begins with love. The Father’s love is not reactive; it is initiative. It did not wait for humanity to become lovable before it acted. It loved first, gave first, and moved first — across the vast distance between divine perfection and human ruin — and sent the Son.

To know the Father is to be permanently liberated from the orphan spirit that drives so much of human anxiety, striving, and spiritual restlessness. Paul declares that we have received “the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father'” (Romans 8:15, NKJV). Abba — the most intimate Aramaic word for father, the word a beloved child uses in utter security and trust. The God of the universe invites you to address Him not with trembling formality but with the confident, joyful intimacy of a deeply loved child.

*The Son: The Bridge Across Every Impossible Distance*

Nicodemus came to Jesus by night — cautiously, secretly, carrying the weight of his religious credentials and the hunger of his unsatisfied soul. Jesus cut through every layer of his theological sophistication with a single, stunning declaration: *_“You must be born again”_* (John 3:7, NKJV). Not reformed. Not improved. Not religiously upgraded. Born again — from above, by the Spirit, through faith in the Son whom the Father sent.

The Son is the bridge that makes the Father accessible and the Spirit receivable. *_No one reaches the Father except through Him_* (John 14:6, NKJV). And the glorious news of Trinity Sunday is this: that bridge was not temporarily erected — it was permanently established at Calvary and eternally secured by the resurrection. The Risen Son sits at the Father’s right hand as our living, reigning, interceding mediator — and every prayer we pray, every step we take, every burden we carry, travels across that eternal bridge directly into the Father’s heart.

*The Spirit: The Power by Whom We Live the Trinitarian Life.*

Having celebrated the Spirit’s outpouring last Sunday at Pentecost, we now deepen our understanding of why that outpouring matters so profoundly on Trinity Sunday. The Holy Spirit is not merely a spiritual experience to be enjoyed — He is the agent by whom we are incorporated into the very life of the Triune God. He is the Spirit of adoption who makes us children. He is the Spirit of truth who reveals the Son. He is the Spirit of glory who points us to the Father.

Paul’s climactic declaration in Romans 8:17 staggers the imagination: we are *_“heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ”_* (NKJV). Everything that belongs to the Son by eternal right belongs to us by gracious adoption. The Trinity has not merely forgiven us from a distance — it has drawn us into its own circle of love, glory, and eternal inheritance. This is the fullest life available to any human being on earth or in eternity — to know the Father, to walk with the Son, and to live and breathe in the Holy Spirit.

Go forth today as a Trinitarian believer — held by the Father, redeemed by the Son, empowered by the Spirit — and live the fullest life possible! ✝️❤️‍🔥🦅

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 9 — _For the New Birth in Every Unsaved Soul_*

Title: Born Again From Above.

_“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”_ — John 3:3 (NKJV).

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 11 — _For Spiritual Depth in This Congregation_*

❤️‍🔥 *Prayer 13 — _For Nigeria and the Nations._*

Title: The Triune God Reigning Over Nations.

_“The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.”_ — Psalm 103:19 (NKJV).

🎵 *_CLOSING HYMN MHB. 64 — _“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty”_*

https://share.google/NXCmLH3wUaogF1brB

1: PRAISE to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!

O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation!

All ye who hear,

Now to His temple draw near;

Praise Him in glad adoration.

2: Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth,

Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth!

Hast thou not seen

How all thy longings have been

Granted in what He ordaineth?

3: Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee;

Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee;

Ponder anew

What the Almighty can do,

If with His love He befriend thee.

4: Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him!

All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him!

Let the Amen

Sound from His people again;

Gladly for ever adore Him.

(Joachim Neander, 1680; Translated by Catherine Winkworth, 1863 — A majestic doxology of praise befitting the close of a Trinity Sunday celebration.)
