π―οΈ *PREPARATORY PRAYERS*
Before We Receive the Wordβ¦
*_“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.”_* β Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV).
*1. The Prayer for Expanded Vision.*
_“Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”_ β Psalm 2:8 (NKJV).
π₯ *_Father of all nations, expand our vision today beyond our comfort zones, beyond our familiar faces, beyond our neighbourhood boundaries, and beyond our cultural preferences. Enlarge our hearts to carry the burden of souls we have never met, in places we have never visited, speaking languages we have never learned. Let the global reach of Your love become the governing passion of our local ministry. We ask for the nations, Lord β boldly, believingly, and with the full expectation of a God who gives generously to those who ask, in Jesus’ Name!_* π₯
*2. The Prayer Against Spiritual Parochialism.*
_”There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”_
β Galatians 3:28 (NKJV).
π₯ *_God of every tribe and tongue, we confess that we have sometimes reduced Your universal Gospel to a local preference β unconsciously favouring those who look like us, sound like us, and worship like us. Forgive us, Lord. Shatter every wall of spiritual parochialism within us. Let the oneness of Christ demolish every prejudice that limits our evangelistic reach. Make us genuinely, practically, and joyfully available to every creature β regardless of tribe, language, class, or culture β in the Name of Jesus!_* π₯
*3. The Prayer for Divine Appointments.*
_“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.'”_
β Acts 16:9 (NKJV).
π₯ *_God of divine appointments, order our steps this week into the paths of those whose hearts You have already been preparing for the Gospel. Let no divine encounter be missed through distraction, impatience, or self-absorption. Open our spiritual eyes to recognise the Macedonian calls around us β the colleague who lingers after everyone leaves, the neighbour whose countenance carries a hidden sorrow, the stranger whose question is really a cry for God. Sensitise us, Lord, to every soul You have scheduled for us to reach, in Jesus’ Name!_* π₯
*4. The Prayer for the Nations.*
_“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”_
β Matthew 24:14 (NKJV).
π₯ *_King of all nations, we stand today as a local church with a global mandate. We pray for the unreached peoples of the earth β those in remote villages, those in closed nations, those in urban deserts of spiritual darkness β who have never once heard the Name that is above every name. Raise missionaries, digital evangelists, and praying intercessors from our midst. Let Christ’s Good News Mission be a sending church, a praying church, and a giving church β until the Gospel has been witnessed to every nation and the King can come. Accelerate Your harvest, Lord β in Jesus’ Name!_* π₯
π THE TEACHING
*EVERY CREATURE IS YOUR NEIGHBOUR*
TEXTS: Mark 16:15; Luke 10:29β37; Acts 17:26β27; John 3:16; Romans 10:14β15.
*INTRODUCTION*
*_“Every Creature Is Your Neighbour”_* speaks about the breathtaking scope of the Christian’s evangelistic responsibility β the radical, boundary-dissolving, culturally challenging truth that the Gospel of Jesus Christ recognises no natural borders, no tribal preferences, no class distinctions, and no geographical limitations.
The question that a certain lawyer asked Jesus in Luke 10:29 has echoed through twenty centuries of Christian history with uncomfortable persistence: *_“And who is my neighbour?” It was asked then as a legal question, seeking to narrow the scope of obligation. It is asked today β often unspoken β as a practical question seeking to limit the reach of our evangelistic responsibility.
And Jesus answered it then β as He answers it now β with a story that exploded every comfortable boundary the questioner had erected.
*_The Good Samaritan did not ask for the wounded man’s tribal affiliation before he stopped._*
*_He did not inquire about his religious credentials before he poured in the oil and wine._*
*_He did not calculate the social cost of association before he lifted him onto his own animal._*
*_He simply saw a human being in need β and responded with the fullness of his resources._*
This is the evangelistic posture that God calls every worker of *_Christ’s Good News Mission_* to embody. Not the posture of the priest who passed by on the other side. Not the posture of the Levite who looked and moved on. But the posture of the one who crossed every cultural, racial, and religious boundary β because a soul in need recognised no such boundaries.
Mark 16:15 could not be more comprehensive in its scope: *_“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”_* Every creature. Not every creature of your tribe. Not every creature of your class. Not every creature of your generation. Every creature β without qualification, without reservation, without exception.
Acts 17:26β27 provides the theological foundation for this universal neighbourliness. God *_” has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth”_* β and has done so with redemptive intentionality, that they “might grope for Him and find Him.” Every human being on earth, regardless of where they were born or what language they speak, shares the same origin, the same need, and the same divinely provided solution. They are your neighbour by creation. They are your mission field by calling.
Romans 10:14 confronts us with the sobering logic of evangelistic responsibility:* “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”_* The chain of salvation has a human link β and that human link is you. The neighbour who has not heard cannot call. The neighbour who has not believed cannot be saved. And the neighbour who has not been reached cannot believe.
Every creature is your neighbour. And your neighbour is waiting.
*1. YOUR NEIGHBOUR IS DEFINED BY NEED, NOT PROXIMITY.*
Luke 10:33β34.
_“But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.”_
The Good Samaritan redefined neighbourhood by response, not by residence:
*_Your neighbour is whomever God places in your path today_*
*_Your neighbour is whoever carries a need your Gospel can address_*
*_Your neighbour is whomever your compassion moves you toward_*
*_Your neighbour is whomever your prejudice tempts you to pass by._*
*LESSON:*
Neighbourhood in God’s Kingdom is not determined by geography β it is determined by divine assignment. Whomever God shows you is your neighbour for that moment.
*2. YOUR NEIGHBOUR SPANS EVERY TRIBE AND TONGUE*
Acts 17:26β27.
_“He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earthβ¦ so that they should seek the Lord.”_
The Gospel recognises no tribal monopoly:
*_Every ethnicity shares the same Creator and the same need for salvation_*
*_Every culture contains souls for whom Christ died with equal love_*
*_Every language group deserves to hear the Gospel in the tongue of their heart_*
*_Every nation has been divinely positioned within reach of God’s redemptive purpose._*
*LESSON:*
Tribal or cultural preference in evangelism contradicts the cross. Christ died for every blood β because from one blood, every nation was made.
*3. YOUR NEIGHBOUR CAN BE REACHED DIGITALLY.*
Romans 10:15.
_“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”_
Beautiful feet in the twenty-first century also wear digital shoes:
*_A website like evangelion-tm.com carries the Gospel across continents instantly_*
*_Social media platforms dissolve every geographical barrier to the Good News_*
*_A single shared testimony online can reach a soul in another nation within seconds_*
*_Digital evangelism is not lesser evangelism β it is accelerated obedience._*
*LESSON:*
Your digital presence is a mission field. Every post, every share, every online conversation is an opportunity to reach a neighbour you will never physically meet.
*4. YOUR NEIGHBOUR DESERVES YOUR VERY BEST.*
John 3:16.
_“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.”_
God’s evangelistic standard is sacrificial excellence:
*_He did not send an angel β He gave His Son._*
*_He did not offer a programme β He provided a Person._*
*_He did not present a philosophy β He demonstrated love. _*_*
*_He did not whisper a suggestion β He made an irrevocable, history-altering commitment._*
*LESSON:*
The souls around you deserve your best witness, your most prepared testimony, your most fervent intercession, and your most sacrificial investment. Give your neighbour what God gave the world β everything.

π *INTERCESSORY PRAYERS.*
After the Word β Into the World We Go
*1. The Prayer for Our Immediate Neighbours.*
_“And you shall love your neighbour as yourself.”_
β Mark 12:31b (NKJV).
π₯ *_Lord of love, we intercede first for our nearest neighbours β those on our streets, in our compounds, across our fences, and within our daily routines who remain untouched by the Gospel we carry. Forgive us for the years of proximity without witness, the years of familiarity without evangelism. Grant our hearts afresh the true compassion for those closest to us. Give us the right words, the right moments, and the right spirit to carry the Gospel across the shortest distances we have somehow never crossed. Save our neighbours, Lord β beginning with those nearest to us, in Jesus’ Name!_* π₯
*2. The Prayer for Cross-Cultural Missionaries.*
_“How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”_ β Romans 10:14bβ15a (NKJV).
π₯ *_The God who sends, we intercede for every missionary and cross-cultural evangelist carrying the Gospel into difficult, dangerous and unreached territories β those in hostile nations, remote communities, and spiritually dark regions where the Name of Jesus has barely been whispered. Protect them supernaturally. Sustain them in seasons of loneliness and opposition. Reward their sacrifice with souls β many souls β that justify every cost they have paid. And from our own congregation, Lord, raise those whom You are calling to go beyond our borders for the sake of the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name!_* π₯

*4. The Prayer for a Harvest Generation.*
_“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”_ β Matthew 9:37β38 (NKJV).
π₯ *_Lord of the harvest, answer Your own invitation β the one You gave us to pray. Send labourers! Send them from our congregation, from our diocese, from our nation, and from every corner of the global Church. Let this generation of believers refuse to be the generation that sat in comfortable churches while the harvest rotted in the fields. Stir us to action. Commission us afresh. Let every worker who received this Word today leave as a labourer β actively, urgently, and joyfully deployed into the greatest harvest the world has ever seen. In Jesus’ triumphant and all-sufficient Name!_* π₯
