1: THE King of love my Shepherd is,

Whose goodness faileth never;

I nothing lack if I am His

1. *Prayer of Hearty Surrender.*

*Bible Verse:* _“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”_ – Psalm 51:10 (NKJV).

🦅 *Prayer: _O Father, I declare my allegiance as a sheep of Christ with unwavering submission: Remember the redemptive blood of Your only-begotten Son and forgive my iniquities, in Jesus’ Name._* 🔥

2. *Prayer of Divine Recognition.*

*Bible Verse:* _“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”_ – John 10:27 (NKJV).

🦅 *Prayer: _O Good Shepherd, attune my spiritual ears to recognise Your voice above all others; let me follow You with complete devotion, in Jesus’ Name._* 🔥

3. *Prayer for Spiritual Hunger.*

*Bible Verse:* _“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.”_ – Psalm 42:1 (NKJV) .

🦅 *Prayer: _O King of Love, create in me an insatiable hunger for Your presence and an unquenchable thirst for Your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name._* 🔥

4. *Prayer for Divine Provision.*

*Bible Verse:* _“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”_ – Psalm 23:1 (NKJV).

🦅 *Prayer: _O Almighty Shepherd, be my shield and fortress; let no weapon formed against my staff of bread prosper as You provide my needs early and consistently, in Jesus’ Name._* 🔥

5. *Prayer for Spiritual Guidance.*

*Bible Verse:* _“He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.”_ – Psalm 23:3 (NKJV).

*_Psalm 23:1-6_* (NKJV)

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

🦅👑 Please think about this: 🌹✝️

A shepherd leading a flock knows every path, every fern, every hidden danger. When the sheep tremble at the shadow of a valley, the shepherd’s voice calms them, guiding them to still waters and green pastures. In Psalm 23, the shepherd’s leadership isn’t distant or theoretical; it is intimate, personal, and trustworthy. So it is with our Great Shepherd: even when the road grows dark, His rod and His staff are instruments of comfort, not punishment—leading us to safety, nourishment, and home with Him forever.

– Beloved, many believers sense a good start with God, but life’s pressures and unfair circumstances press in: bills, losses, accidents and uncertainty about the future. In such moments, we may forget that the Shepherd intends to meet every need and to lead His sheep into green pastures, even when skies seem heavy.

– The pull of fear, human betrayal or comparison, and self-reliance can lure us into trying to “manage” our futures instead of trusting the Shepherd to order our steps. We may unwittingly doubt His provision or pace, or look to prosperity and security apart from Him. Many elites even conclude that God has done His best for humankind and we need to be self-reliant and character-guided. To them, ignorance lead humans to seek God or pray for what wẹ can achieve or Divine Help which, they affirm, would not come!

– The remedy to human errors is intimate reliance on the Shepherd’s voice: trust Him to feed, restore, guide, protect, and anoint. Psalm 23 teaches that, with Him, goodness and mercy are not occasional; they pursue us daily, and our security is grounded not in our circumstances but in the Shepherd’s steadfast love.

🦅👑 How does this theme concern a cross-section of those of us living at these end-times?🌹✝️

– i. *_Dear penitent believer – troubled soul seeking Christ’s Touch,_*

– Rest in the Shepherd’s care; He is the restorer of souls. *_“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.”_* (Psalm 23:3 NKJV).

– ii. In whatever Religion you profess, you dó well by agreeing that there is an Almighty God who made the heaven and earth. *_The inter-faith Community_* must respect the common yearning for guidance while honouring Christ as the unique Way. *_“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”_* (John 14:6 NKJV).

– iii. *_Beloved atheistic friend,_*

– Consider the experiential witness of a personal, loving Shepherd who leads with goodness. *_“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”_* (Psalm 23:1 NKJV). How many times have you solely guides yourself to success, without any assistance from providence or humanity? God made helpers for you, and we all need God!

– iv. *_Is your job or business organisation in peril?_*

– Seek the Shepherd’s supply of guiding wisdom: He leads those who seek help to green pastures, even in crisis. *_“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”_* (Psalm 23:1 NKJV).

– v. *_Dear Leader in Government,_*

– Dó you Believe that our Creator is our leader who demands accountability? Then, lead God’s people under the Shepherd’s governance, in Peace, seeking His justice and mercy. *_“The Lord will bless his people with peace.”_* (Psalm 66:3 NKJV).

vi. *_Revered Ecclesiastical Leaders from all Faiths,_*

Shepherd the flock with humility, discipleship, and dependence on the Great Shepherd. *_“Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion – but willingly, not for dishonest gain – but eagerly.”_* (1 Peter 5:2 NKJV).

Please listen: *_“And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.”_* (1 Peter 5:4 NKJV).

This beautiful verse from *_1 Peter 5:4_* perfectly complements the shepherd imagery and reminds all ecclesiastical leaders that we serve under the ultimate authority of Christ, the Chief Shepherd, and our reward comes from Him alone!

Beloved, let us move beyond religion to intimate relationship with the Great Shepherd. Hand over every agenda, every plan, every fear—allow Him to order all your ways. The invitation remains: trust His leadership, follow His voice, and rest in His provision. Will you rededicate your life to the King of Love today?

Beloved, the Great Shepherd calls you today to personal surrender. If you have never trusted Him as your Shepherd, respond now. If you have wandered, return to the green pastures. If you are a labouring believer, lay down every burden at His feet and rest in His care. Come forward as we sing, and commit anew to follow the King of Love wherever He leads.
