Prayer – DAY 8 in Lenten Season – Very Rev. Prof. Kọ́nyinsọ́lá Àjàyí, SAN.

*12th March – Day 8 – A PRAYER FOR FINANCIAL BLESSINGS*

Lord God, the Great I Am, Supreme Source of good and abundance, I call on You in this world of challenges, at a time of austerity, and in a sea of want. Please have mercy on me as I pray for financial blessings in this harsh economic season in the world – seeking that You make me abound in prosperity in all that I do and in all that I am, wherever I am.

Father, I surrender my financial affairs and concerns about money to Your limitless abundance of love, care, wisdom, provision, and mercy. Open the inner and outer gates of Your treasures and infuse them into me. Give me wealth and possessions, coupled with the ability to enjoy them all my days and have enough to benefit others and my heirs.

Lord, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that will lead me so that wealth will come to me from near and far. Lord Jesus Christ, let all my apprehensions about my investments in time and money yesterday yield fruit today; all my worries, anxieties, and fears today about money; and all my nervousness, discomfort and concerns about tomorrow, I place on Your shoulders, nailing them to the Cross on which You were crucified – so that, in me, I may have renewed faith and blessed assurance of a better tomorrow, filled with joy and gladness.

Father, fill my barns with overflowing and let my vats brim with new wine. I know and trust that You will pay my debts, and money will flow into my life ceaselessly. I only have to look to nature to see the proof of the abundance you provide. I reject all negative thoughts about money and know that prosperity is my actual state. I am grateful for all that I now have in my life.

With Your help, I will manage my finances wisely, seek help, and act prudently.

On bended knees, I ask you to help me understand my life purpose and act on that purpose with courage and strength. I know that prosperity must come as I engage in the economic activity I love with the grace I enjoy from You.

Finally, please help me use my skills and knowledge to serve You for the benefit of humankind.

Thank you, LORD God, for answering my prayers.
