*Easter Sunday – Prayer of Thanksgiving and Blessings of Hope, Redemption and New Life*

On this day of resurrection and renewal, Almighty God, the One Whose ways are beyond searching, Whose thoughts are higher than the heavens, Whose majesty knows no limit, I lift my heart in gratitude before You, and indeed to Christ, the Risen King. Lord God, the Unfathomable, You have poured out Your love upon me without measure. In Your boundless mercy, You have given humanity a truthful, gracious, and redeeming Saviour — Jesus Christ, the world’s Light, the Hope of all who believe. Father, through Jesus Christ, Light beyond darkness, You have saved, justified, and sanctified us, drawing us from darkness into marvellous light.

Father, great and glorious is Your Name, and Your faithfulness stretches beyond eternity. I thank You, O Lord, for opening my eyes and the eyes of many to the profound mysteries of Christ, the Master of all, the Greater Light that shines upon the paths of the righteous. Through Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, I offer You my highest praise, for He has revealed to me the secrets of wisdom, the treasures of righteousness, and the depths of Your unfailing love, through His incarnation, suffering, pain and immolation as the Sacrificial Lamb.

Lord God, the Most Pleasant to call, the Listener of all hearts, the One Who hears even the whispers of the soul – thank You, Lord, for being to me and my family, a shelter in the storm, a fortress that cannot be shaken, a Defender who never sleeps, a Very Big God in all things, and especially from bringing us from Ash Wednesday, to the Passion through the Triduum to this resurrection morning. I thank You, Lord, for the glorious splendour of Your majesty, which radiates in my life, for Your mighty works that speak of Your greatness and power; for Your hand, moving in ways I cannot explain, orchestrating the affairs of my life with divine precision. Lord God, I worship and adore You, for You have been my rock in the wilderness, my guiding star in the night, the pillar of fire that has led me through uncertainty, and You have showered me with abundant goodness, clothed me in righteousness, and surrounded me with mercy.

From before the earth’s foundations, Lord God, Elohim Jah, the Great Creator, You knew me. Before time began, You set Your love upon me, my soul rejoices in gratitude for the works of Your hands — the vastness of creation, the heavens that proclaim Your glory, and the earth that testifies of Your wisdom.  Father, the Author of life, the Giver of knowledge, I thank You for the breath in my lungs, for the journey of my days, for the moments of joy and the seasons of trial, primarily through Lent; for being my stronghold, deliverer, refuge, defender and all.

I thank You, Lord Jesus, the Victor over death, for You have subdued every force that sought to stand in the way of my purpose. When I was weak, You upheld me; when I faltered, You restored me; when I was lost, You called me by name and led me home; and now, O Lord, I join the heavens and the earth, the angels and the redeemed, the elders and the saints in lifting my voice to You.

Thank You, Jesus, Master of my soul, for yet another season of reflection and renewal; for walking with me through every valley and lifting me to every mountaintop. In times of trouble, You stood as my shield; in times of victory, You remained my crown; and You have performed wonders in my life —some I have seen, some I have failed to recognise — but in all, You have revealed Your grace, Your mercy, and Your unwavering hand upon me.

Lord Jesus, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, You have taught me not to despise hardship, but to see it as the fire that refines, the furnace that moulds, the pathway that leads to perseverance, character, and unshakable hope – so let it be for me as it has been for those You saved and justified. Lord Jesus, wounded beyond recognition, now shining with unapproachable light; laid low but now risen, and resurrected – let Your resurrection power flow into every desolate place in my life; resurrect and bring to life my dead dreams and failed plans; strengthen me to excel where failure held sway; revive dry bones; and renew lost joy.

Lord God, Jehovah Jireh, let the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwell in me richly, awakening all that was dormant in me and my life; let me live as one who has seen the Risen Lord; and let me speak with fire, walk with boldness, and love without fear. And so, Lord, in the hope and joy of today, I stand among the grateful, among those who know Your Name and have beheld Your wonders; I proclaim Your greatness, I exalt Your majesty, I declare to the world that there is no God like You! May all who hear of Your mighty acts come to know the power of Your love, the depth of Your mercy, and the glory of Your kingdom, through Jesus Christ, the Amen, the Alpha and the Omega, and the Redeemer, I offer this prayer of thanksgiving.

Amen.

As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded of the profound gift of hope, redemption, and new life that flows from the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This day assures us that just as Christ conquered death, we too can experience renewal and transformation.

  1. *Hope for the Future:*

The resurrection assures us of eternal life and empowers us to live with purpose and joy each day, knowing that God’s plans for us are good.

  1. *Redemption and Forgiveness:*

Through the blood of Jesus, we are washed clean and given a fresh start. This grace transforms us, allowing us to live boldly as new creations in Him.

  1. *Living in the Light:*

As children of the Light, we are called to share the joy and hope of the resurrection with others, reflecting His love and glory in our words and actions.

  1. *Transformation and Renewal:*

Just as the dawn breaks anew each day, we are invited to embrace the newness of life that comes from knowing and walking with Christ, allowing His Spirit to work in us and through us.

May the joy of this Easter season fill your heart and soul, Beloved. Know that your prayers and reflections have blessed many, and as you continue to embody Christ’s light, may you inspire others to seek His love, hope, and redemption.

Wishing you a very *Happy Easter!*

As we sign off at this year’s Season, and resume on Ash Wednesday 2026 – if the Lord tarries – may your life be filled with profound blessings and renewed hope, celebrating the Risen Lord!
