*Palm Sunday – Prayer for Christ’s Ride into Me*
Lord Jesus, the only Teacher, the Leader of the Kingdom of God, Leader of the Victorious Church, and the embodiment of love, Who came to reveal to men the true nature of God, You entered Jerusalem not on a throne but on a colt – so today, on this sacred Palm Sunday, I too raise my voice to You in welcome into my life; and reveal to me this mystery, and the plan God has for me on this day of palms. Lord Jesus, the Good Shepherd, come into my life afresh, not just as Saviour, but as King; take Your rightful place at the gates of my heart; and do not ever leave me alone, for without You I am nothing but a leaf straying in the wind.
O Jesus, Son of God, just as they laid palm branches in Your path, I lay before You my fears, my desires, my ambitions, and my needs: Let Your presence ride in triumph over every poverty of spirit, over every barrenness in my finances, my purpose, my relationships, and my walk with You. Lord Jesus, let palm branches wave in the spirit over my gates, signalling Your victory and the entry of divine provision, the establishment of divine order, and the sealing of heavenly peace in my life and endeavours. Lord Jesus, Bread of heaven, feed, teach, develop, guide, lead, defend and uphold me. Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, let the Spirit of Peace be spread from me around me and beyond.
Lord Jesus, let the power in You and its efficacy attend all my undertakings, endeavours and efforts – so that I may do Your will for the salvation of souls and my eternal life.

Palm fronds represent victory, triumph, and the welcoming of a king. As we celebrate *Palm Sunday*, may we remember that Jesus, our humble King, seeks to ride into our hearts—not with grandeur but with love and grace. Just as He entered Jerusalem on a lowly colt, He invites us to surrender our lofty ambitions and burdens to Him, trusting His divine plan.
Let us lay down our fears, desires, and ambitions like those palm branches before Him, symbolising our willingness to embrace His will. In this sacred moment, may we recognise that true victory comes from inviting Christ into our lives, allowing His peace to reign and His purpose to flourish within us.
Remember that with Christ at the helm, our lives flourish, and His divine provision will sustain us through every season. As we journey towards Christ’s cross and the joy of His resurrection, may we actively engage with God’s Kingdom’s righteousness, peace, and the joy of His Holy Ghost.
