- I will lift my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
- My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth?

He who keeps you will not slumber.
- Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
- The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.

Let us pray:
💕🦅 *_Authority in Heaven, Anoint me anew with the grace to deliver only your mind-set from the engrafted Word of Life so that, as your Beloved hears God’s charge today, You will help, gladden, replenish and favour them through this exhortation. Let us enter into your presence of Help so that we may be empowered to help others in Your unfailing love through Jesus Christ’s Name._* AMEN.

*_Welcome into God’s Presence, Beloved._*
In this beautiful and comforting *_GOOD NEWS_*, the psalmist reminds us that our help and protection come from the LORD, the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth… The Father of Jesus Christ.
When we face life’s challenges and uncertainties, we can *only* find refuge and strength in the unfailing presence of our God. Only HE has unconditional HELP. Human or diabolical help brings crises in the long run, but with God, Help is available to those who believe:
🦅 *1. The Assurance of God’s Help (verses 1-2)* 🙏
The psalmist declares his unwavering trust in the LORD as the source of his help. He acknowledges that all accurate help and deliverance come from the one who made the heavens and the earth. This reminds us that our God is all-powerful and sovereign – able to meet our every need.
🦅 *2. The Constancy of God’s Watch Care (verses 3-4)* 🙏
The psalmist emphasises that the Lord, who keeps us, never slumbers or sleeps. He is constantly vigilant, guarding and protecting us at all times. This assurance of God’s unceasing care and attention brings excellent comfort, as we know we are never left unattended or vulnerable.
🦅 *3. The Scope of God’s Protection (verses 5-6)* 🙏
The Lord is described as the keeper, the shade, and the protector from the elements. He shields us from harm, whether it be the scorching sun or the cold of the night. This comprehensive protection reminds us that no area of our lives is beyond the reach of God’s loving care.
🦅 *4. The Certainty of God’s Preservation (verses 7-8)* 🙏
The psalmist declares that the Lord will preserve us from all evil and keep watch over our entire lives, both our going out and our coming in. This promise of eternal preservation gives us the confidence to face each day, knowing that our souls are safe in the hands of our faithful God.

🦅 1. *Human Relationships*: 🦅
*_“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him!”_* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1)
As nations and governments recognise God’s unfailing help and protection, it can lead to the salvation of the polity and the establishment of righteous leadership.
When leaders submit to the Lord’s guidance, God can direct their hearts and decisions to bring about justice, prosperity, and the well-being of the people. Believers must pray for their leaders so that they may seek God’s wisdom and align their policies with His divine purposes.
🦅 3. *Success in Business and Firms*: 🦅
*_”Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”_* (Proverbs 16:3)
Relying on God’s unfailing help and protection empowers individuals and businesses to pursue their endeavours with confidence and integrity. When we entrust our work to the Lord, He provides the wisdom, resources, and favour needed to succeed.
This creates an environment where businesses can thrive, serve their communities, and honour God in all their practices.
🦅 4. *The Anti-theist*: 🦅
*_”The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.'”_* (Psalm 14:1)
The anti-theist, who denies the existence of God, may be challenged by the testimonies of those who have experienced God’s unfailing help and protection.
As believers walk in the assurance of God’s presence and care, it can serve as a powerful witness, softening the heart of the anti-theist and opening their eyes to the reality of the divine.
🦅 5. *For a Person who had given up the Hope of living*: 🦅
*_“The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”_* (Psalm 34:18)
Amid despair and hopelessness, the assurance of God’s unfailing help and protection can be a lifeline for those who have given up on living.
As they learn the Lord’s compassion and the promise of His salvation, their spirit can be renewed, and they can find the strength to persevere.
🦅 6. *Success in Personal Endeavours*: 🦅
*_“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.”_* (Proverbs 3:5-6)
When we rely on God’s unfailing help and protection in our endeavours, He guides us and establishes our plans.
As we submit our ways to the Lord, He provides the wisdom, resources, and divine favour needed to see our aspirations and callings come to fruition.
🦅 7. *Personal Reconciliation with God*: 🦅
*_“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him, we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.”_* (Romans 5:1-2)
The ultimate solution is personal reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus Christ. When we surrender to the Lord, we experience the forgiveness, restoration, and assurance of His unfailing help and protection.
This reconciliation with God provides the foundation for a transformative relationship where we can walk in the fullness of His grace and the hope of eternal glory.
May the truth of God’s unfailing help and protection permeate every aspect of our lives, bringing transformation, healing, and the fulfilment of His divine purposes. Amen.
Beloved, let us lift our eyes to the presence of God and find our help in the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He is our constant companion, unwavering protector, and the One who will preserve us permanently. As we surrender our lives fully to Him, may we walk in the assurance of His unfailing love and grace. Amen.
