Minister of Deliverance. at
Methodist Church Nigeria, Ketu Circuit, Lagos – Lagos
January 1999 to September 2003

1.      I was divinely moved to work in my family church. And I was accepted with pomp and pageantry.

I was sent into training at Methodist Theological Institute to be re-trained as a Methodist Minister for 2 years, since I already got trained at Latter Rain Bible School, and had appropriate expertise.

I engaged in the same duties as in the previous Churches, Latter Rain Assembly, and New Zion Ministries… with more independence to operate, and with better results.

The Church grew tremendously within the period.

I worked as a Contemporary African Painter who administers the company as well as engaging in Visual Arts Production; running an Arts Gallery; Planning, and Execution of Art Exhibitions & Seminars; Advertising, and Public Relations Management.

I profitably ran the Company as part-time CEO till I stepped aside on 30th November 2004…

*Priest, Presbyter, * at Methodist Church Nigeria.

Administered from 21-23 Marina, Lagos.
Lagos
October 2003 to September 2021.

I served in my family’s traditional church for 21 years. And it was a sacrificial experience.

I received sacerdotal on-the-job training. I served, offering: General Counselling, Church Administration, Preaching, Teaching, Seminar Presentation, Membership Care, Philanthropy (Non-Profits), and Sundry Sacerdotal Obligations.

2.     Core Spiritual / Liturgical Programmes, Scripting and Publishing of the Diocesan Evangelism Periodicals… and sundry duties/assistance to Evangelism and Discipleship in the Local Church, Circuit, and my Diocese.

At the completion of formal training at the Seminary, in 2003, I served at the Diocese of Edo-Delta… Apart from working in 2 Churches in succession, including the Diocesan Cathedral, I was made the Diocesan Minister for Evangelism. I travelled far and wide within the two states – of Edo and Delta – on the job.

MCN posted me to the Diocese of Port-Harcourt where I administered 3 Churches from October 2007 and September 2011… I was the Wesley Circuit’s Minister of Evangelism & Outreach. We planted a few Churches and I prepared my final Church to become a (Circuit) Headquarters. I started and concluded the massive Church Edifice.

I was enrolled into the Bishop of Port-Harcourt’s Evangelism / Outreach Team from 2008- 2011.

In October 2011, MCN. moved me to the Lagos Arch-Diocesan Cathedral at Olowogbowo. I was made the Diocesan Minister for Evangelism. With the Archbishop and Christ, we made great exploits.

I served at Remo Central Diocese of MCN, as Assistant Secretary of Synod, between October 2014 and September 2017.

8.     Assistance to Diocesan Synod Secretary in Planning, Administration of information, reports, and protocols leading to the successful Governance of the Annual Synods (what you may refer to as Diocesan Annual Leaders’ Stewardship and Resolutions Summit). The Synod is the Highest Governing Council of a Diocese, chaired by the bishop.

My administrative and spiritual gifts were discovered and I was elevated (preferred as) a Presbyter (A Senior Priest / Venerable) in 2017.

By that preferment, I was posted to Sagamu-Ojumele Circuit as Presbyter in charge of all the MCN Churches in that Circuit. I became the Diocesan Minister for Evangelism before I was moved on a rescue mission to Sapele Circuit, Diocese of Edo-Delta.

It was my 2nd Missionary Journey and I immensely succeeded on the job. I resumed my duty as 2nd-time Diocesan Minister for Evangelism, and became the Chairman, Sapele Local Government’s Christian Association of Nigeria. I ensured that we acquired a site for an Ecumenical House within my short tenure. I was re-posted after 3 years, but a new divine call has come… I had to withdraw my service from MCN to resume at Good News Christian Mission with effect from 1st October 2021.

Called To Pivot a Christian Mission.

After the Spiritual instruction – spanning over 3 years – with confirmations and proper permissions from my employers and Spiritual leaders, I applied to withdraw my services and left Methodist Church Nigeria with blessings from the Spiritual Leadership. From the 1st day of October 2021, after settling down in a new location, the work began. With other Christians, we met and crafted the Deed of Foundation on 31st October 2021, which constituted GOOD NEWS CHRISTIAN MISSION as an autonomous community of Christian Believers. Then, I was given the huge support to spiritually lead the Mission.

Bishop, Good News Christian Mission.
Lagos Archdiocese / Headquarters.
7th April 2022 to date.

I was consecrated into the bishop’s office on the 7th day of April 2022. The bishop has a priestly job description except for the huge oversight roles.

My job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Being the Spiritual, Chief Administrative, Operations, and financial leader of the Mission.

·        Creating the logistic solutions and the strategy for the implementation of the Mission’s spiritual, moral, infrastructural, and financial development.

·        Ensuring the success of the Mission’s Research, teaching, and training.

·        Bishops alone have the right to accept, confirm and ordain members of the Clergy, and their main duty is to supervise the clergy within their dioceses. In the Good News Christian Mission, the Bishop is selected by God and consecrated by a recognised College of Bishops with the Patriarch as the Head… at an appropriately convened GNCM Conference.

·        Receiving new members into the Church Fellowship after they have successfully passed the required examinations from the Foundational Classes, baptise them and fulfil their confirmation as full members of the Body of Christ that could partake in the Sanctified Holy Communion in any Orthodox Church.

·        Taking the binding prayerful decisions on the recruitment of Pastors and staff through the Mission’s laid down rules as it passes through the appropriate hierarchy.

·        Upholding the ‘leadership by exemplary action’ rules of the mission, ensuring that the bishop does not get any remuneration until the Mission has raised enough funds and had settled the staff emolument and monthly targets of the mission.
