Let us lean into purposeful rest as a spiritual discipline today. Psalm 46:10 (NKJV) invites, *_“Be still, and know that I am God.”_* In Lent, rest is not laziness but a sacred space for meditation, renewal, forgiveness, and reorientation toward God’s mission where we find ourselves serving Him.
We are a nation of busy lives and urgent demands—families balancing work, church, and community service. A season of rest can refresh vision, reduce burnout, and renew energy for practical mercy.
*Reflection:* How might intentional rest sharpen your service and witness? Where is God inviting you to pause, listen, and recalibrate?

Schedule a weekly “Sabbath-like” rhythm for prayer and reflection.
Journal what God is teaching you as you rest.
