💔 Preservation in Faith During Trials. 💔

💎 Theme: Test of Steadfastness.

 

Today we lean into the resilience of faith under pressure. In 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NKJV), Paul exhorts, *_“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.”_* Trials refine, not destroy; they reveal where our trust truly rests. *Lent* invites us to cling to Christ, letting endurance shape our character, hope, and witness.

 

The *Lent* cuts across the universe, connecting the heart of Christ to the people He died to save, bringing practicality to Christian character, hope and witness. Today, the world faces a new wave of heightened security challenges, economic strain, and social tension. In this realism, believers must hold fast to truth with gentleness. A nurse tending to the vulnerable, a teacher sustaining hope amid disruptions, a small business owner persevering through adversity, and a wealthy business mogul navigating incongruent life challenges and unseen sorrows to steer the ship of a multi-national establishment—these are acts of faith preserved under pressure. Our steady faith becomes a quiet testimony to a watching nation.

 

*Reflection:* Where is my faith most tested right now? Do I tremble or triumph in the face of trouble, knowing Christ is with me? *Lent* invites us to cultivate a posture of persistent prayer, faithful obedience, and communal support that sustains others when circumstances threaten.

 

*Today’s practice invites you to: 

Recite a faith-keeping prayer each time you encounter a trial.

Memorise an endurance scripture to lean on in difficulty.

Reach out to someone who is struggling, offering practical help and spiritual encouragement.
