PSK 020. THE MINISTRY OF LIQUID FIRE

7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
INTRODUCTION
The liquid fire is synonymous with the ministry of tears: heartfelt expression of our state through liquid prayer.
How many of us know that God is compassionate? He stores those tears – especially when they come from a heart that is overwhelmed. But, as one would avoid a plague, let such persons avoid compromising the will of God!
One of my treasured Chartered Scientist (my friend and former Senior Steward in Wesley-One, Port-Harcourt) told me that scientists had discovered – through practical experiments – that prayers work in the affairs of Men!
A socialite undergraduate had to abandon her Para-medical Studies due to an inexplicable case and was taken to the Psychiatric Hospital. She was said to be so mad that the Chief Medical Director of the hospital lost hope on her. No one could help her. They administered their drugs, but it did not work. Two nurses in that hospital were bent on helping this patient. They saw something in her eyes which others could not see. Slowly but steadily, by their prayers and everything, the sister began to recover. Impressed by the caring attitudes of these nurses, she gave her life to Christ. Gradually, that person that could not use her hand began to use it. She began to talk sensibly. Some weeks on, a meeting of the doctors and nurses was convened. While those two nurses had stood their ground that the Sister’s condition would be better, others had warned that if she was discharged, she would come back after two months. However, she was allowed to go and stay with her people…
Things were rough for that Sister. Much later, with much encouragement from some good Christians, she was admitted back into the University to study Medical Psychology. So, after a few years of graduation she came back to the same hospital.
When she was giving her first lecture, she said:
“Several years ago when I was about to be discharged from this Hospital, many of you here looking at me said I will be back within few months. You are right. I’m back now, but on a different platform: as a Professional!”
It is ordained, but you may say she was lucky. But, not everyone is that lucky! Do you know that some people could render their own lives a deficit to the Almighty, through unbelief? They live and die in vain. Such people cannot be expected to fulfil their divine purpose. But, the Lord has a special preparation for YOU & ME. And for those who would like to drink from that divine well. So, if you seek a miraculous positive change in your life, pray the following prayer point with me – with your whole heart. Pray like this:
- Oh Lord, let my life be a profit – not a deficit – in Jesus’ Name.
- My house will not be pulled down by contrary wind, in the Name of Jesus.
- Anything that will make God’s blessing to leap over my head and pass on, Oh Lord, remove it now, in the Name of Jesus.
Lay your right hand on your head and say:
- Every root of evil desire in me, die, in Jesus’ Name.
- Oh Lord, charge my spiritual battery with your Holy Ghost Fire, in the Name of Jesus.
Some people are being dragged by the enemy to the altar of slaughter. They themselves can feel it. One voice tells them: “Take your life, kill yourself.”
That is a satanic instruction by remote-controlled-forces. That message may come through people who are close to those who receive them. Such victims are being dragged to the altar of slaughter. Because of this, I want everyone to pray (Psa.58:6-8) with holy anger.
- Break the teeth in my enemies’ mouths, O God; tear out, O LORD, the fangs of the lions sent to make my life to end as worthless… in Jesus’ Name. (Psa. 58:6).
- Let those who attack my destiny vanish like water that flows away, O God; when they draw the bows, O LORD, let their arrows backfire… in Jesus’ Name. (Psa. 58:7).
- In Jesus’ Name… Like a slug melting away as it moves along – like a still-born child – Let those who pray for the failure of my good requests from God never see the sun, or have their desires fulfilled. (Psa. 58:8).
- Let every design of the enemy concerning my life be destroyed, in the Name of Jesus.
- In Jesus’ Name, let every decision of the enemy concerning my life be cancelled.
- Every directive of the enemy blown-up to swallow-up my life, be deflated, in the Name of Jesus.
- Every defense of the enemy against my life, be dismantled, in the Name of Jesus.
ILLUSTRATION
I used to remember a brother who had a very serious asthma case and the thing has embarrassed him in terrible places. The worst embarrassment he had suffered is on his wedding day. As the minister of God got there and asked.
“Will you take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife…?”
Before he could answer, the attack started, right there in the church. He fell down and they carried him out: Very embarrassing. His wedding suit was dirty. They looked inside and searched his bag to get his inhaler. He was revived again and taken to the altar. Meanwhile, the Pastor quickly finished up the service. He was scared himself, and thought:
“How can it be written in my record that I was conducting wedding service and the bridegroom died?”
The next embarrassment the brother had was at a job interview. As soon as he got there, the attack started. I do not need to tell you that he lost the job. The would-be employees would think: This one is already a liability, yet he want to come here. And we shall be thinking of bereavement benefits.
When he got fed up with the situation, he woke up at 12 midnight and prayed, with hot tears, to the Lord and slept after the prayers. Then suddenly, an angel was standing beside him and the angel laid on him, put his mouth on his mouth gave him a kiss. As that kiss was done, it was as if something was pulled out from within him, and that was the end of the asthma.
When he was now free, he was still not satisfied. He prayed that he wanted to know why the asthma was there. Then the Lord told him,
“When you were in your mother’s womb, your father beat up your mummy. It was from there the spirit of asthma entered into your life.” But the most important fact now is that the Almighty God has delivered him!
You may ask me again “Which Bible Passage promotes the ministry of liquid prayers?”
In Psalm 56: 8 we discover that God can list our tears on his scroll: Yes- He puts them in His records.
The Bible has a lot to say about the Ministry of Liquid Fire or Ministry of Tears. Those tears engulf the enemy forces with flames from heaven. Infants weep, strong men weep. Even, the tears of Jesus are mentioned in John 11: 35.
In 2 Kings 20:1-5 (NKJV) we read:
Hezekiah had put his face to the wall and had wept bitterly. And in answer to those tears, the Lord who stores our tears came to his aid.
When words fail us, then tears flow. Tears have a language of their own. It is the language that needs no interpreter. You see some eyes shining and sparkling now. And then, before long, those eyes are flooded with tears. Those tears summon the king of Heaven. And our creator never forgets any crisis in our life that brings out tears toward God.
In the Middle East where the Bible was written, if somebody is really sad and is weeping, it is a common practice to gather their tears in a little flask and keep them as a remembrance.
David was wandering around in the wilderness when persecuted by King Saul. And he endured for years.
There was an occasion when they captured his wives, some of his loyalists’ wives, properties and all that he had. The Bible says he, first of all, cried. After he had seen that the crying was not useful, he encouraged himself in the Lord. Meanwhile, God has filed away those tears in the scroll where He records those tears suffered by His obedient children.
God notices those tears we shed when we are being harassed. He has genuine sympathy, seeing all our sorrows and tears. Jesus, who is God, wept at the tomb of His friend, and He even burst into tears for Jerusalem when he saw what was going to happen to her.
Our heavenly Father is full of compassion and understanding. The Bible says in Heb.4:15-16 that we don’t have such a high priest who is unable to sympathise with the feeling of our infirmities, for He was in all points tested as well: But He did not fail. So, He says we should come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy at the time of needs.
There are 6 different types of tears in the Bible.
Tears of joy.
In the book of Genesis 33:4 The Bible talks about the tears of joy. When something good completely overwhelms your spirit it brings tears of joy.
Tears of sorrow/suffering.
The Bible talks about the tears of sorrow (or tears that comes out of sufferings). You find that (in 2Kings 20:5 where we read about Hezekiah) there are tears of sorrow and tears of suffering.
Tears of desperation.
This occurs when a Christian becomes so desperate to receive a good thing from God, and he/she strictly leans on God alone for succour. It must be followed by a Christ-Centered Step of faith. In Esther 4:1-3, we find this type. When tears of desperation rolls down your cheeks in prayers, you have paved the way for God’s miracles to happen.
Tears of travail
God sees our tears of travail. Our own must come through our determined resolve to achieve success. Let us see Isaiah 42:14.
“I have long time held my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.” NKJV
Tears of repentance
We have tears of repentance. This is not the weeping that comes when we deliberately do evil, and we are caught: then we feel some shame. This occurs when somebody sees that what he/she had done is bad and, seeing how hurt God is, he/she begins to cry. I pray that we continue to find more of those tears in Jesus’ name. You find this in Joel 2:12-13.
12 “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.” KJV.
Tears of compassion
Tears of compassion as that one found in John 11: 35. Where it is written “And Jesus Wept.”
Those are 6 kinds of tears Christians often have in relation to being blessed.
In our quiet-time with the Lord, we often find ourselves weeping, quaking and travailing as we pray. The good thing about the Lord is this, He notices everything. I always get excited when I see this in the Bible. Rev. 21:4
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
It is a great joy to read that one. He who wiped the tears of Hezekiah will – at the end of time – wipe away all tears. Close your eyes and pray like this:
- “All my tears that are caused by the enemy, transform into my testimony, in the Name of Jesus.”
Let us see how God operates.
The book of John 2:10 says: “And (the Governor of the Wedding Feast) saith unto him, ‘every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.’ ”
Is it not God that saves the best for the last? The starter does nothing: whoever perseveres to the end and keeps the faith is the overcomer!
You’ve heard people say that the glory departed from so-and-so, hence it was all struggles and shouts for him/her: His or her anointing is no more there… Have you ever read: Rom 11:29?
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” KJV
It happened to Peter after denying Christ. It happened to David, Solomon, Isaiah, etc. And it happens still. God can never lie! The truth is that some people (of God) do not have the kind of patience required for restoration after their fall! They are like Saul and Judas! They obey the will of the devil who tells them that “It is ALL-OVER!” They seek solace in God’s enemy, and are doomed!
Rise above your enemy and say this prayer with me:
- “Devil, it is not over with me. When I fall, I have the grace of God to arise. And I shall remain risen with the LORD. Amen!”
It does not matter what you have gone through in the past. You may not even like what you are passing through now. Most of the people in this generation are not finding things easy at all. A lot of Christians are getting confused- just as lots of politicians are daily getting confused. Almost all professionals are confused because what is happening today does not seem to be following the rule in the textbooks. The world’s economists and leaders remain confused because they did not choose to seek God for solutions.
A lot of people are dying of heart failure, high blood pressure, tension (anxiety or the hyper disease) and, instead of seeking God’s face, some people are crying about their losses.
All those tears channeled to God through our prayers are inside His records. God will do something about it. Your critics will say that you have kept the good wine up till now. The pattern for human beings is to sort first, the best. When the best is exhausted, they bring the bad one; then, the worse. Man’s ways are not God’s ways. You only have a duty of supplying the fire-power: Pray. He will do it for you.
The ordinary Man on his day of visitation goes from best to worst. The Christian goes from good to better. But God goes from best to best: He is exalted from glory to glory. It does not matter the miracles, the favour or the glory of God you are seeing today, there is still something better. God has kept the best wine for the last. And God will wait until we have tried all our other wines and have exhausted them, then He will convert ordinary water into sweet wine. Your best is yet to come. Say “If you have not seen me shining, know this: I’m destined to succeed.” Close your eyes and pray this prayer:
- “Every enemy of my shining: Fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.”
- “Oh God, I know you don’t ever come late, surprise me this week, in the name of Jesus.”
IMPORTANT THINGS
There are several points to bear in mind if you want the Lord to stop your tears, dry them and work for you. If you have been engaged in the ministry of liquid fire, that is, you have been praying and crying, (Not crying, because you have the worst lot in the world but crying before the Lord because your heart is overwhelmed.) You will not be crying because you feel that you need God’s special pity on you. Don’t cry because of how the enemy has raped you, stolen your blessing and will not return them. PRAY BECAUSE you want the Almighty to attend to you!
On what do YOU Depend?
If you depend on men and circumstances, life will be full of discouragement, disappointment and despair.
The most sincere of all men can fail us due to the limitations of the human nature. Only God cannot fail you.
The Bible says, “Woe unto him that puts his trust in man whose breath is in his nostril.” (Isaiah 2: 22; Psalm 118: 8-9).
Your circumstances must not overcome you.
The fact that you have a problem shows that you are alive. A dead person has no problem unless he was not born again. There is always a dark hour in a person’s life. There will always be a Red Sea situation, and you have a cross to bear.
Do not get to a stage where the enemy will tell you to go and kill yourself and you go ahead to do it. It does not make sense.
Don’t have negative faith
A lot of people have faith but in the negative. Don’t believe the false or any negativity. Cancel them and live.
What we call negative faith is the faith in wrong direction. Faith in the kingdom of darkness: Faith in Satan, instead of Faith in the Lord Jesus.
Imagine this scenario when a 51 years old man went through a deliverance session and went out. And, as he was by the door, the devil came:
Devil: How long have you had this problem?
Man: 31 years ago.
Devil: How long did you pray in that place?
Man: 3 hours minus Praise – worship; and two hours, if you do not count testimonies.”
Then the devil says “That has been happening for 31 years? What is making you to believe that your 2 hours prayers will do it?”
The man begins to ponder, “Ah, its true o.”
Faith in the negative then takes the person to the cleaners’!
A man of God was once asked to pray for a woman who came complaining about diabetes, digestive problem and ulcer. The man of God laid hand on her head and said,
“Oh Lord, fill this woman with unbelief in her sickness, fill her with unbelief against her sickness so that she won’t believe that the sickness will kill her,’ a lot of people have this kind of wrong faith and it causes trouble. Look at Isa 33:24
24 “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.”
If you are now seeing what the Bible says and you still have negative faith in the devil, the Drier of tears will become a spectator.
True faith will act:
Do you have the correct faith? Men of faith do not just sit there – helpless: They take action.
Faith also endures and does not give up. You have to continue steadfastly, even in difficulty, until victory is won.
True faith is resistant to discouragement.
So, this is what to do if you want the Drier of tears to come into your situation.
Lay one hand on your chest and pray aggressively like this:
- “I bind every spirit of restlessness that is fighting against my trust in God, in Jesus name.”
What is the last point to note?
Under any situation, do not compromise your faith.
Those who are seeking to have children do many things. Listen to me very carefully. Several years back, I was counseling a brother. He told me that he sent his wife to a “very potent” prophet for prayer. I asked him which prophet and he mentioned the name. But the prophet happened to be the same that one woman came to confess to me about, before: he had raped her when she went to him for prayers.
So, I advised my friend not to send his wife to the place again. But he said, “The man is powerful, he sees vision, he has anointing.” The man did not accept my pleadings. So, he concluded that his wife had to go there.
I was sad, but I had to keep quiet. Any further statement will be like ‘jealousy’. The life of a prophet is very simple. When you say, “Thus says the Lord,” and the person says he does not believe. You leave him alone.
When I was a young Christian, if the Lord asked me to warn somebody and the person refuses to listen I am always happy to see the outcome, but as I grow older in the LORD, and more matured, I end up crying and saying, “But this is what God says.”
Then, about a few months later the wife of this brother came to see me and as she seated, the Lord was telling me something strange. The Lord said that, that pregnancy belong to the prophet, not your friend. Then I asked the woman if she had anything to do with that prophet, she started crying. Until today, I could not tell the husband. But that is what happens when you compromise the faith you should have in your Pastors.
There may be a simple thing the Almighty God wants you to do and you do not want to do it. But you want supernatural manifestation through a lot of spiritual gymnastics! You’ll get it and you will get something else in addition.
It can never be bad to manifest. But let God solve the problem. When some people come for deliverance and the Ministers say, “Receive the fire of God; Or, Be delivered by the blood of Jesus”. Some roll on the floor; some summersault; some vomit as if they have gone temporarily mad; and somehow, they finish the deliverance. Two weeks later, they are back again. “Receive fire” the deliverance minister will say again. And the cycle repeats itself again: They start rolling on the floor; scratching their heads and somersaulting. Why? It is simple. There are some rebellious acts in the person, keeping those spirits in place: You will do well if you just sit down for two hours and repent. There are some things compromising inside.
I was invited to a place to go and pray. As we finished the prayers and were going out, I heard the voice of a young lady cursing somebody’s fore-fathers: She was actually screaming it. This does not really attract me until she said, “in Jesus’ Name”. She was cursing in the name of Jesus. Out of curiosity, I enquired about who it was. When she suddenly noticed a Man in Cassock, she said:
“Ah, Reverend, what are you doing here?”
Then I asked her if she was the one that talked just before. She started crying. The person she was having misunderstanding with shouted: “That is how she sheds crocodile tears and she will be carrying a Bible.”
Now, that kind of woman will come here and start shouting “Holy Ghost fire, O God Supply Deliverance!” No, it doesn’t happen that way. God helps the penitent heart. Not that one who sees nothing wrong with his/her favourite sin! Never compromise with a little sin.
The children of Israel were taken to the land of Babylon. They were small boys, really small boys of, 15, 16, 17 years of age. Even Daniel and his friends. Israel has refused to obey God and they were taken captive. The parents put their children in trouble so God delivered His own people to the enemy for punishment.
Close your eyes and pray like this:
18.“Oh Lord, do not deliver me into the hands of my enemies, in Jesus’ Name. Put me not, into shame.”
Beloved, this is what happens when the children of God abandons God’s warning. They are delivered into the hands of their enemies and unbelievers will rule over them. Those three young men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were instructed to bow to the idol, but they said, ‘Sir we prefer to burn than bow. We refuse to compromise our faith.
If they were married, their wives would have been crying. If they had bowed to the idol, no one would have blamed them. They always have some excuses. They could say, “Well, since God has abandoned us, why are we risking our lives?” However, they made one of the boldest statements in the Bible. They said, “we are not slow to answer you in this matter, to bow to the idols, no. But if you want to throw us in the fiery furnace, our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us from the fiery furnace and from your hand. And if He decides not to deliver us today, cast us into the fire.” Those are people who do not compromise.
When they bring their crooked business and you get involved, you block yourself away from divine prosperity. They were cast into the fiery furnace bound but they came out free. The enemies regretted touching them. Why? They refuse to compromise.
Doctor D. K. Olukoya shared a testimony of a brother. There was a crooked business and they invited some senior Nigerians. They decided to share some money as the first instalment but the brother’s pay was sixty million which he refused to take. He said he was not going to touch it because he was a Christian. The others said that they were Christians too. But the brother still refused, insisting that he was born-again. Then they asked, “Who invited this foolish man here?” They drove him out because he refused to compromise.
When a man of God, goes to a particular place and instead of two minutes prayer, he had a vigil. Some people will say:
“Look at this Pastor: He is looking for something- And when they want to do this kind of prayer, they don’t do it in the houses of those of us with one room. It is in big houses.” Well, when you have just one room apartment, with your stove and your bed in a place, you can’t get some ministers insisting to help you with a night vigil. They go to more lucrative places. Compromise! We don’t do that here: God forbid. Every member is important!
The enemies of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego regretted that they touched them. Their being thrown to fire resulted in testimonies.
Pray like this:
- “O GOD, let every unrepentant enemy of my well-being receive the spirit of regrets, in the name of Jesus.”
You must not compromise if you want the drier of tears to come into your situation.
When those boys came out of the fire, they were no longer bound. The only thing that burnt off was their chain. The fire of the enemy set them free. So the attack of the enemies was converted to freedom and deliverance. The weapon that the enemy wanted to use to destroy these boys who refused to compromise was the weapon of destruction of the enemies.
The fire of the enemies killed the enemies. Pray like this also:
- “Let the fire of the enemies; destroy God’s enemies against my ministry, in the name of Jesus.”
- “Every problem machinated by the enemy, destroy yourselves, in the name of Jesus.”
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, because they refused to compromise, the fire had no power over their bodies. Their hair was not burnt, neither did their clothes change. Even the smell of fire was not on them. Those men walked out of the fire because they refused to compromise.
The same thing happened with Daniel in the Bible. He refused to touch what they were serving in the king’s palace. He did not compromise.
There are different categories of Christians today. We have a lot of ‘compromisers’ around who would be ready to switch boxes, write all kinds of things and practice very unrighteous methods in their businesses. They forget that God is their source and not the turning of books upside down; not doing crooked things and telling wicked lies. God has to be your source, if you want clean wealth.
Remain in the path of truth. Do not let falsehood be found in you. That falsehood is compromising. Unfortunately, the smell of fire is in the body of many Christians today, after they have been delivered from the fire of the enemy.
Go for an excellent spirit: the kind that was upon Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and Daniel. Then, there will be no compromise. They are two parallel lines. There is no meeting point.
How can a Christian be telling lies comfortably, with the Holy Spirit pinching and warning that, this is a lie? Why is that so? It is the spirit of compromise.
Many of us have materials we ought to destroy but which we have not destroyed. There are people who have reservations for a man of God visiting them at home, often because they do not wish to let go of their age-long gods. The pastor will probably complain that what they keep is not godly and they get extremely worried about it. You cannot serve God and that idol. This is compromise.
The attack against Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego only succeeded in giving them promotion. That is what it did. They just got promotion. They became governors.
- “Every attack of the enemies against me, be converted to promotion, in the name of Jesus.”
Lay your right hand on your head, the second one on your chest and pray with holy anger like this:
- “Oh Lord, re-arrange my situation to favour me, in the name of Jesus.”
Now, 90% of the Blackman’s trouble is due to household witchcraft and strange children planted all over the place: degrading people, demoting people, causing confusion, stealing ones finances and paralyzing spiritual life. I like you to pray like this:
- “Every power of household witchcraft against my soul, be destroyed, in Jesus name.”
- “I break every curse of poverty placed upon my life, in the name of Jesus.”
- Every covenant of poverty made with the waters and the ground over my territory, break because of my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Every evil cloud over my territory, scatter by fire, in Jesus name.
- I speak to the Principalities over my territory and I command you to cooperate with my divine destiny, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, proper me in this place and cause me to be blessed, in the name of Jesus.
- I challenge by fire, every witchcraft agent in my territory and I terminate their activities, in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic agent consulting the moon, the stars and the sun for evil purposes in this place, be paralyzed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- The prosperity that nobody in my family has ever experienced, I receive the power of God to possess it, in the name of Jesus.
- Every internal barrier in my life, Be destroyed by fire in the name of Jesus.
- By the power that broke the walls of Jericho, every barrier in my life, break in the name of Jesus.
Raise your hand to heaven and pray fervently in this line:
- I touch the heavens with the finger of God and I command every satanic barrier against me to fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
- I release myself from every yoke of the padlock, in the name of Jesus.
