Beloved brethren, today we gather to celebrate the glorious reality of our faith: *_“I have seen the Risen LORD!”_* This declaration is not merely a historical fact; it is the essence of our hope and the foundation of our lives as believers.
Imagine the scene at Galilee: the disciples, filled with confusion and fear, had witnessed the crucifixion of their beloved Master. Three days (the triduum) had passed, and despair loomed heavy over their hearts. Yet, in their darkest hour, Jesus appeared to them to reveal Himself and ignite the fire of resurrection power within them.
In the End-Times context, we must reflect on our role as the Church. The world around us is uncertain, and many have lost hope. Just as Jesus reassured His disciples, He beckons to us today: *_“Peace be with you.”_* He calls us to bear witness to His resurrection, to live as beacons of hope and light in a society that desperately needs it.
