*EXHORTATION!*
Our God is deep, mysterious, and awesomely powerful. No human understanding can fathom the extent of his greatness. When the reality of his power overshadows you, you will attain the position of ‘a god’ over all your adversaries and human limitations. Read 1 Tim. 3:16 and Exodus 8:19 ff. The Lord will open our eyes to see how limitless He is. Jesus started with prayer: so, let us emulate him like this:
- (Judges 7:13-25) O God, who makes an underdog invincible – Destroy my weaknesses and empower my strength through your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name.
- O God, let your arm dismantle every pipeline which supplies harmful materials to my life to keep me weak and helpless. Let me become vital for your calling, in Jesus’ Name.
- (Luke 11: 20) With the finger of God, I reduce to ashes every satanic insult and declaration against my life, inside the lake of fiery fire, in Jesus’ Name.
- O Jesus, heal my destiny. Let every evil agenda for my life, marriage, children, family, ministry and co-worshipers be consumed by the wrath of God through your Name.
- I send God’s thunder, fire and brimstone to destroy every satanic duplicate in the spiritual world, which covets my blessing before they reach me… in Jesus’ Name.
- (Psalm 74:13) Awake, O arm of the Lord; reduce to ashes every conspiracy of evil workers, principalities and powers in my family, my Church, our Nation and my endeavours- in the Name of Jesus.
- (Isaiah 51:9-11) Awake, O arm of the Lord and recover all my blessing which the enemy stole away while I was in slumber… for the blood of Jesus ransoms me to recover all – through the mighty Name of Jesus.
AMEN.
When a marathon race begins, and one of the athletes gains an early lead, he raises his hands to acknowledge cheers… His fans boast that he will maintain that lead till he wins. But those other competitors who know their God, having solidly prepared as experienced runners, are not pushed to change their style. We are all athletes running a race of our lives. If one has experience in knowing God’s awesomeness, he needs not be terrified. Confidence sets in, and the God who never loses is happy to supply the adrenaline at the right time… The Almighty must first see that the believer has refused to be-little Him before worldly powers, knowing that God is bigger than the biggest: the maker of all men. At the trial, the person who rests in the ‘authority in heaven’ emerges as the victor! Ecclesiastes 9:11 says, ‘The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong…’
A brother’s many problems led him to severe prayers and temporary relocation to a Prayer Mountain! He returned home to the warm embrace of his wife. She had made beautiful attire from the same fabric for herself and her husband. She told him to accompany her on a stroll while the man wondered what was happening. Though his questions were unanswered, God strongly led him to follow her wherever she led him. The couple went towards the outskirts of the city…
They got to a forest, and he watched as the wife stamped her right foot on the ground. Alas, they both appeared in a strange place. Soon, some adorable children joyfully sprinted towards the wife, severally chanting ‘Mummy, Mummy.’ She told them not to address her as such again since that would be their last meeting ever. She renounced them and her Marine Prince husband. While the children wept uncontrollably, the demonic husband stood perplexed. The demonic husband tried to remind the lady that she was a spirit being on a mission – not a human being who could repent. But the woman gleefully expressed her joy in being saved from the wrath to come. She reminded them of the fate that awaited Satan and the citizens of that marine kingdom! She introduced her husband and announced her eternal separation from the Marines and its mission against God. She held the Christian husband and stamped her foot on the ground again… and they found themselves in the sitting room of the earthly husband.
This wife recounted how she had been the sole source of the husband’s earthly woes since they had met and even in marriage. That this Marine Princess was forgiven to live with Humans, renouncing her spirit kingdom and position is not an everyday occurrence. This kind of deliverance requires the ARM OF GOD: what Jesus described as ‘the finger of God’ in Luke 11:20.
When the ‘finger of God descends upon your enemies, they become as senseless as Pharaoh. Remember that Pharaoh and his chariot-men pursued Israel into the middle distance of the parted Red Sea. Should he not have known that it is unwise to follow the Israelites into an erstwhile deep and ferocious Sea, which his opponents’ God miraculously parted? Is it not a foolish fly that follows a corpse into the grave?!
- SEEK DIVINE UNDERSTANDING.
God’s arm – or his finger – is more significant than all witch doctors, magicians, occult grandmasters and wise ones of this world put together. When HE stretched His arm to punish sacked archangel Lucifer for his rebellion in heaven, Angel Michael was empowered to defeat his erstwhile boss, casting him down to earth. God’s finger had already judged Satan! (Luke 10:18)
Seeking and accepting divine knowledge involves keeping our Peace (Let Go and Let God) and having total confidence that God can unilaterally sink the ship of the unrepentant enemy in the oceans of life. *Stop dismissing eternal truths as RELIGION: It may be your last chance!* If God agrees you are on His side, HE will fight your battle!
- JESUS USES THE FINGER OF GOD.
Luke 11:20 proves Jesus as knowing His God, using His finger to cast out demons. It was beyond speech or self-defence. *Hence, having commanded us to cast out devils in his name (Mark 16: 17-18), we are not expected to abandon His revelation and ‘use Power and might’. The arm of flesh will fail us.* We are expected to command them to leave – in Jesus’ Name – and the arm of the LORD shall cast them out.
His hands are awesome. If the finger of God judged Belshazzar in Daniel 5: 27, then HIS ARM will do valiantly. Exodus 15: 6 says: “Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.” What’s more? We can do likewise. *Pray along with me:*
- O God Arise! And let your hands dash the ‘enemy of our Church’s Progress and National growth’ into pieces – I pray in the mighty Name of Jesus.
- Let your right hand exalt me, O GOD, and overthrow my mortal and demonic enemies, in Jesus’ Name!
- KNOW YOUR GOD (DAN. 11:32).
We are in the hollows of God’s hands; hence (Gal. 6:17), no man or devil can trouble us if we know and serve the living God. However, we know God on a NOMINAL LEVEL or at an INTIMATE LEVEL. Those who know God nominally are either carnal or nominal Christians. They believe that God exists and that He is powerful. They can even worship God without exercising much faith in Him! They are only close to God to the extent that they pray: whether He answers or not is another technical issue they are afraid of. Those who know God on an intimate level should have a Prayer Altar. This category of Christians experiences His raw power. They do not only know God so well, He knows them (and the devil knows them too). They have an intimate relationship with God as consummate (perfect) friends.
*Their consciousness is not seared with ungodly ideologies that posit that those who hope in God for national peace and prosperity are ignorant or RELIGIOUS!*
They can describe God’s attributes, likes, dislikes, what He is about to do and why.
Do you desire an intimate relationship with God? Do you want His hand to be outstanding upon your life? Then, let us find out how to KNOW HIM:
*We need to love Him.*
Knowing that He cares for ALL our needs and passions, we must personally respond to His Love! You can check this out when you realise that you always love to be alone with Him, communicating with one another as two lovers often do. Attending fellowships where He is discussed will not be stressful. Continuous communication is an effective and essential tool in Relationships. I think “Pray Without Ceasing” is a phrase Christians should interpret as ‘discussing with God’ rather than ‘talking to’ Him.
*We need to obey Him.*
The Bible does not just suggest; it is a LAW BOOK! It has commandments that we must obey, whether convenient or not. It does not offer mere opinions, nor does its strong admonitions depict mere advice: It has commands for you to follow if you want to be blessed and fulfilled. Be Born Again (John 3: 3-5).
God fights the battles of those who LOVE, TRUST and OBEY Him. Now, shout this with me:
*_“Awake, O arm of the LORD, and fight for me while guiding me into your humble truth, in Jesus’ Name.”_*
The following prayer points are the keys to your perfection:
- O Jesus, cause them to dry up: every evil hand focused and determined to destroy my destiny!
- Break, in Jesus’ Name, every evil umbilical cord which links me with Spiritual backwardness!
- In Jesus’ Name, in every walk of life, let every evil chain preventing my advancement be cut into destructive pieces!
- In Jesus’ Name, let them be utterly destroyed, all remote-controlling powers monitoring my ministry and life.
- O LORD, My God: Forcefully open every closed door that hinders blessings, in Jesus’ Name.
- Let every arrow of death (targeted against me, my family, my marriage, my ministry, and my true friends) return to sender – in Jesus’ Name.
- O Jesus, I have promised to serve you till the end. So, guide, protect and give me the grace to – forever – sing your praise. Amen!
Let Jesus’ Love conquer all my lapses! Thank You, O God, for restoring love all around me.
