💕 Psalm 11:1–7 reveals King David’s human frailty and the struggle against the temptation to flee from his enemies. This kind of auto-suggestion usually breaks out from fears. However, it might have come to David as *_“wise counsel”_* from his advisors or hideous mockers.
Like any mortal, he contemplated finding a quick escape from danger into the safety of the mountains because his enemies were well-armed and ready to decimate him. However, David quickly recovered, making him testify that the LORD protects him. *_Alleluia!_*
